The time has come for Paul
Hoenderop to take a step back and enjoy his well-deserved retirement. Let’s
take a moment to look back at some wonderful times.
From small beginnings In 1975, after 10 years of sailing
as an inland vessel skipper, Paul started selling tarpaulins out of his
parents’ garage. Driven by customer demand, he expanded the product range
quickly. He steadily
grew the company into the market
leader in commercial shipping supplies that it is today.
The past 45 years, a period of
enjoyable collaborations and great contacts Despite the fact that Paul is
going to miss his job enormously, it is with great confidence that he is
handing over Hoenderop BV to the next generation:
“My daughter Martine already
took over my role as director in January 2019. The transition has gone smoothly
- that’s just how it should be. Our dealers can continue to count on our
service and the quality of our product range. I would like to thank all the
customers and suppliers for our enjoyable working relationships. I look back
with pleasure on the contact that I have had with everyone over the past 45
years.” The future, a stable family
businessFor Martine it is a special moment to continue her
father’s work:
“It has always been my wish to take over the company and keep
the family business going. I am very grateful to Dad for handing over such a
stable and healthy company; this is really something to be proud of. We have a
very skilled team and I am so looking forward to building on that stability
even further with them.”
