New submersible pump: the Simer 6
For decades, ship crews have relied on the Simer submersible pumps to empty tanks or drying various spaces. The Simer 5 now has a successor: the Simer 6, where further innovations ensure even greater ease of use.
Compared to the Simer 5, the Simer 6 provides thirty per cent more flow. In addition, a built-in non-return valve and graduated hose piece are included in the delivery. The suction basket is also easier to detach, making cleaning the removable strainer base even easier.
Pumping until the last drop
Like the Simer 5, the Simer 6 is ideally suited for pumping the hold, aft peak and engine room dry, for example. Cooling of the motor jacket allows submerged operation. The submersible pumps start from a water level of just 5 mm and quickly and easily drain the unwanted water to a residual water level of 2 mm.
