A chrome ship’s bell requires considerably less maintenance than pure brass.
Chrome also has a disadvantage, however, in that it also shows all the irregularities which you do not see in a pure polished bell.
It is also possible for small casting bubbles to become visible during one of the acid baths.
We are therefore unable to guarantee high quality and chrome plating will only be done at your own risk.
