Tarvarnish is a black, ready-to-use liquid based on bitumen with a petroleum-based solvent.
Applications
Tarvarnish is specially formulated for the preservation of metal ship parts, steel structures and metal pipes.
Application
Tarvarnish can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun.
The film is touch dry after 4 hours at 20°C and can be handled after 8 hours.
Do not apply the product at temperatures below 0°C.
Use the product on a dry, grease-free and dust-free surface.
Only dilute the product with Tarvarnish thinner.
Apply 2 to 3 coats of this product, depending on the desired layer thickness.
Properties
Long-lasting protection against corrosion and moisture.
The product remains elastic and does not harden.
Long service life.
Has highly water-repellent properties.
For both internal and external preservation of ship parts.
