The Philips HeartStart FRx AED is an extremely robust and reliable defibrillator. The AED is dust and water resistant (IP55) making it suitable for use on board a ship or in a factory. Available in various languages including Dutch, English, German and French.
Important Philips FRx AED features:
• IP55: offers optimum protection against external influences
• Shock Resistant: Even after a drop of more than 1 meter, the AED continues to function reliably
• Shelf life: The battery assures you of 200 shocks, 4 hours of operation OR an AED that is on standby for four years (including self-testing). In addition, the AED has a reserve capacity, which means that it can still deliver shocks after indicating a low battery.
• Rescuer Guidance: The AED guides the rescuer through the process with spoken instructions.
• The AED is always on: it continuously monitors the heart rhythm, even if you squeeze the chest during CPR or ventilate the patient. When the Philips FRx AED detects a defibrillating rhythm during the CPR cycle:
• Interrupts the CPR cycle
• Checks the heart rhythm a second time
• Charges quickly to deliver a shock (a lifesaving shock is never delayed!)
• Quick Shock: The AED can deliver a shock within 8.1 seconds thanks to the Quick Shock Technology.
