Universal Shipping Grease is a grease mainly developed for lubricating propeller shafts, water pumps and stuffing boxes.
It has been developed for these applications but is also very useful on board for lubricating sliding and ball bearings thereby making full use of its multipurpose character.
The properties of this grease are:
• Very good anti corrosion properties
• Ample EP (Extreme Pressure) properties
• Good anti oxidant properties
• Excellent resistance to salt and fresh water
• Good adhesive properties
• Easy for automatic greasers to pump
• High mechanical stability
• Does not attack rubber

N.L.G.I.: 2/3
Penetration at 25 °C: 250 - 265
(60 strokes ) (ASTM D 217)
Dropping point (ASTM D 566): 185 °C - 195 °C
Soap base: Li 12 Hydroxy stearate
Working temperature: -20 °C to +135 °C
Colour: dark green
Consistency: like butter
