WD-40 Specialist Universal Cleaner is a solvent-based cleaner that quickly removes stubborn dirt such as oil, grease, grime and other debris. The product works immediately upon application, is easy to rinse off and leaves no residue. For really stubborn dirt, allow it to work for a few seconds before wiping clean.

The universal cleaner is ideal for degreasing metal parts and surfaces. As well as cleaning, our fast-acting cleaning spray will also reduce wear on your parts, ensuring everything continues to work smoothly for longer.

The universal cleaner is safe to use on metal, glass and aluminium. Please note: do not use on plastic, rubber or coated surfaces.

How do I use the universal cleaner?
Shake the universal cleaner well before use, then apply the product from a distance of 15 to 30 cm. Allow the product to soak in for a moment, then wipe the treated surface thoroughly with a cloth or sponge. Repeat the process if necessary. Do not use on plastic, rubber, coated surfaces or acrylic surfaces. Avoid prolonged contact or allowing the universal cleaner to dry. With the Smart Straw applicator, you have two ways to spray: both wide and precise. Flip the straw up for precise spraying and flip it down to treat larger surfaces. Whichever way you choose to spray, you can rely on the smart 360° valve, allowing you to spray both upright and upside down.
