WD-40 Specialist Penetrating Oil is specifically designed for corroded or rusted parts and mechanisms. The formula quickly and easily loosens stuck or seized parts.
This powerful penetrating oil quickly penetrates hard-to-reach areas. It quickly loosens seized fastenings and stuck or rusted moving parts.
Due to its low viscosity, it can easily penetrate small spaces, allowing it to lubricate jammed fastenings that are less accessible. The product is also water-resistant and can therefore be used preventively to stop rust and corrosion.
Suitable for use at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +90°C, on materials such as metal, rubber, plastics, alloys and most types of paint.
How do I use penetrating oil?
Shake the penetrating oil before use, then spray it onto the rusted joints and leave it to soak in for a few minutes. If necessary, the process can be repeated. With the Smart Straw applicator, you have two ways to spray: both wide and precise. Flip the straw up for precise spraying and flip it down to treat larger surfaces. Whichever way you choose to spray, you can rely on the smart 360° valve, which allows you to spray both upright and upside down.
